What size dirtbike would be best?

I am 16 about 6 ft and around 160lbs. I am just starting out and want to go the 2 stroke route. I was wondering if the Honda Cr 85 or Cr 125 would be best suited for my size and experience.

If I were you, I would go with the Cr 125.

Miss out the 85 dude.

The CR or the YZ would be great, as they suit a tall fella.

Take it easy when starting, these bike are very quick of the mark. Many young lads have binned it badly on there first day, so take your time.

first let's address this 2-stroke idea.. you may want to look at a 4 stroke since that is the future technology for bikes..checked the supercross arenas lately? besides a 4 stroke will be easier to learn on since the powerband isn't as snappy..as for the size..you're too big for a 125 and forget the 85..look towards a 250-450 range,take it slow, and you'll have a bike that you won't outgrow so fast!!

250f foursyrokes are good for racing and 2 strokes are best for jumping freestyle

If you're just starting out the CR125 will be a great bike to get some experience on but there if you're planning on riding a lot and serious about getting good at it, you're skill level will eventually exceed what the 125 can offer.  If that's the case, I might go with a 250 now.  It won't be much harder to learn on and you won't outgrow it as fast.

The CR125R would be better than the Cr85 for your size.

I know you said 2 stroke but the CRF250R would be much better for your size a little more power for someone your size.
