What size fuse do i need in my inline fuse holder for my AMP?

  1. If you are talking about the inline fuse that is placed within 18" of the battery I need to know what size power wire you are using. The inline fuse is there to protect your wiring from getting fried and possibly causing a fire hazard. The amp already has fuses to protect it, this is what a previous anserwer was pointing to.


  2. That particular amp uses 2 30 amp fuses according to the specs.

  3. you can get a 100w fuse ...but if you want to make sure you will be safe you should buy a FUSE BREAKER its about 300watts thats the best...if you fuse ever goes out you can open your cars hood ..and press reset with no problems and if you dont want it under the hood you can put it in da trunck of your car...GOOD LUCK

  4. Easy, add up the ratings that are on the amp and use the total you come up with for the fuse you need.
