What size goalie pads should i wear?

If you're 5'7 take 33+1 Nhl Legal Pads, nothing else.

An easy formula to use in this:

Take your shoe size (e.g. 9) + the length from the inside of your ankle to your kneecap (e.g. 21 inches) + your desired thigh rise height (e.g. 6 inches) = 36 inch pad.

Try that, if you are 5' 7'' my guess would be a 34 or a 35.

Depends; each manufacturer makes their pads a little bit differently.

You need to measure your ankle-to-knee (stand for this measurement barefoot or wearing socks), and then start your shopping.  

That you're 5'7" doesn't mean much; it's how you're proportioned that counts.

You'll want to bring your skates and your goalie pants with you when you try stuff on so you can see how everything fits in relation.
