  1. I do some catfishing in a lake and while i wait for them to bite i always go for some rock bass.  I use a #6 hook with a piece of worm on it but you need to disguise the hook really good.  You can use a #8 too but they usually swallow the whole hook which always pisses me off!

  2. I would use a 1/4 oz. spinner with a plastic worm attached or a beetle spin.  Small floating crankbaits work well too.  But if you want to use live bait, or cut bait, I would use a #2.

  3. use a 1/16th beetle spin and you should catch all the rock bass you could ever want. I would recommend using them on a small 4/0 bass hook for catfish bait, they work great..

  4. The phattest hook you can come up with - make that rock bass funky! ;)

Small crayfish on a No. 6 will do you splendidly.

  5. id use a small one with corn on a shallow part of the water works

  6. well i fish all the time and i use corn for catching fish i usally use corn for bass and trout like last weekend i caught a 2 rock bass and a small mouth and the hook shouldnt be really big i use a medium hook for fishing if u use a small hook the might just take the bait and leave the hook and if the hook is to big they just might not bite it but if its medium they will trust me ive been fishing for a long time every weekend prett much so have fun and good luck.
