What size jeans would i wear for garage skinny jeans...?!?

I worked for the Garage group of companies and I know from experience that most their merchandise fits on the small size. Their jeans are usually sold by waist size for example, 27, 28, etc. Garage goes by junior sizes (odd numbers) so a  size 2 would be a size 3 or a 24 or 25 at Garage. Keep in mind that a size 2 at Gap is going to be more like a size 5 at Garage, for example because things there do fit small. The best thing is to go to the store and try them on if you can, because like all stores these days, their sizing isn't always consistent. One size 3 can fit differently than another size 3 because at the factory when they cut the fabric, they often cut many pieces in a pile at once.

The pieces at the bottom of the pile will be bigger than the pieces at the top (if the pile is really big) resulting in smaller or bigger fabric pieces used for the same size. As you can see this would cause each individual pair of jeans to fit differently depending on where in "the pile" the pieces are from, if this makes any sense. Wow, I'm such a clothing nerd.

The moral of this story is "try before you buy" and always wash first before hemming (less "treated" dark denims shrink more than highly treated stone wash, but that's another topic, lol). You will need to hem Garage jeans if you are a "short" because they can be as long as a 34" inseam. Skinnies can be hemmed quite short because there's no flare that you need to worry about cutting off.

it's very reliable to go to the store and try them on if you want.

i never buy things online because i don't know if they'll fit right.

i wear the same size in skinny jeans. it doesnt really matter if the end of the pants are skinny or poofed out. your welcome!! :)

you would probably wear a 1 or 2 short cause ae pants run like a size smaller.

oh, and the 26 and 24 and stuff is inches around your waist.
