What size longboard should i get? ?

I am about about 5'10" and about 200 lbs. I will be surfing on the east coast in nj. wondering what size you would recommend?

probably 9'0 - 10' longboard. Just ask the guys at a local surf shop.

The traditional "longboard" is 9 foot.

Your weight is the most important factor. A surf shop will most likely recommend 9'6 to 10'. Speak to the guys at your local shop to get an idea about performance shapes, and fin set ups.

i suggest getting an 8' board. but go to your local surf shop and the guys there will help you get the best size board for you.
