What size mercury outboard do I have? 18 or 35hp?

I bought a 15foot bassboat with a 35hp mercury outboard. Or atleast that is what the seller told me it was. The serial number is 595-6005, which comes back to a 18hp mercury. But when I go look for a carb rebuild kit, there are no 18hp mercurys with 2 cylinders. But there is a 35hp with 2 cylinders. Does anyone know size motor I have? It has 2 cylinders on it, one carb and it pushes the boat to about 15-25 mph, which I don't think would be possible with a 18hp.
