What size of floor boards for a 12x16 barn shed?

Building shed on pier foundation to protect maple tree. Plan to use 9 concrete piers(is that enough) Also many sheds I've seen use 2x6 floor boards. Since it is going to be on pier foundation I was planning to use 2x10s anchored down(is that okay or to small for 12x16 shed) just wanted to be prepared when getting my permit.

2x10s will work ok but building codes in different areas might say its not even for a shed so check that out first
