  1. size down...i use a board that hits my nose, and when i ride..i could tell how much better it be if i had a smaller board.  I like lighter boards.

  2. Please ignore advice to check if the board comes to your chin or shoulder - that is just a rule of thumb that only works for riders that are average weight for their height.

Size depends mostly on the riders weight and what kind of riding they do - also experience. Assuming you are a beginner riding both All Mountain and Freestyle the right size would be about 142cm. If you are better the board can be longer. If you are riding only in the park the board should be shorter.

When your ideal size is between the two - size down if riding park, size up if riding "all mountain", powder, runs, etc.

Use the manufacturer web site for sizing or use a snowboard size calculator:

    Good Luck

  3. Well if that current board comes up to about your nose, thats almost too big for you. I would say it would be better going down a little. You dont want to over work your body with a bigger board.

  4. i would go for the 140cm. you don't need any higher.

Although it relly comes down to personal preferance

  5. Well, I'm about 5' 5" and I have a Forum Manual 150cm.... That would be a good board for you as I have grown since buying it.

  6. get the 140 for sure if your 143 is up to your nose, you could probably even ride a 138 if you liked a shorter board if your riding park and stuff, i am pretty much your exact weight and height and i ride the rome detail 140, its a siiick board i wouldnt trade it for anything, i'd check it out, perfect for everything, and sweet graphics too..
