It would also help if you can tell us what rpm the engine runs now at w.o.t. and what the w.o.t. rpms should be for that engine.

Need more information on what your plans for the boat are. Do you plan to just be pulling someone on water skis or toys? Multiple skiers?

Are you just going to use the boat to cruise from point A to point B?
