I am a 240 lb. 6'4" and am looking for a motorized scooter do help deal with the gas prices. I don't want a scooter that looks to small for me when I sit on it and makes me look dumb. I don't know anything about scooters. Can anyone help with any suggestions on which kind, size, make i should get? Thanks.

  1. I have a 250 Kymco Grandvista and I love it,It is a 2007 and I have already put over 7000 miles on it.Mine cost under $5,000.00. And my son has a 250 Honda Reflex which would be great for you since you are 6'4 ,when I get on his I  have to stretch my arms and legs to ride it.

They say Honda does not make them any more, but you might find a used one ,my son gave around $6,000.00  for his new, Both of these gets around 70 miles a gallon. The Kymco gas tank is 2 and a half gallons and the Honda has a 3 and half gallon tank.

  2. The MP3 is a very nice scooter... my boss has one.  They are quite expensive though.  I would recommend the Kymco People 150 (top speed of 60MPH) or the People S200 (top speed of 70mph).

These are about the most reliable cost effective scooters that you can get and their customer support is great.  They also come with 2 yr warranties.  They also have 16" wheels that will give you better stability at higher speeds.

  3. i recommend a piaggio MP3 or a gilera fuoco for u.... they are both cheaper than my 17k harley night rod special and look pretty fun to ride right

  4. I recommend  Kymco they are not as expensive as a Piaggio or Vespa. And are rated the best except for those two and better than anything honda or any of the  j*p names have.ALso they are cheaper than them. They have scooters from 50cc to 500cc in several styles to suit your needs.

  5. 150cc at least.  Lance has the Vintage and the Milano.  Both are a tad bigger than the 50ccs you see around town.

Oh, and the MP3?  Um, I think they are like $7500.
