I'm ordering a shirt from Ferrari. I'd like to make sure I get the correct size. What size should I get if I wear a LARGE here in the US? Just didn't know if the sizes are way different over in Europe or anything. I assume a large will fit? . Thanks for any help.

  1. The sizes tend to be smaller, go for a XL if a US L is nice and snug. The first suggestion was the soundest, send in your measurements

  2. To be extra sure what you order you should ask them for a "US Large" and they should understand.

I've often seen, inside of clothes on the size tag, the size of the garment stated for different countries. So if they are selling clothes worldwide they should know what size you need in the US.

  3. Ciao. Here in Europe sizes tend to be smaller than in US.

Your Large here will be XL.

    bye.

  4. Shirts usually run smaller here in Italy. I would order a xlarge at least.

  5. sizes in Europe tend to be smaller than in the U.S.  Think about it, we are generally much larger than most Europeans.  If you are a large in the U.S, I would ask for an XL or even an XXL if you are getting it from Italy.

  6. HI I'M ITALIAN YOU'RE MORE BIGGEST THAN US,WE'RE SMALL,SO,LET YOU MAKE YOU RESULTS!BYE!

  7. ...XL....

  8. XL or - if you "fill" an US L-size - maybe even an Italian XXL. I am 184cm tall (6" and a bit), 160 lbs, and I used to wear L-size t-shirts and polo shirts in Italy. That became M and sometimes still L in England, where I stayed a few years. Here in Atlanta, my polo are mostly S, with a few cases of M.

One of the reason for the difference in size is "vanity sizing" (a.k.a. 'size inflation'), which is - as far as I know - not practiced by European producers...

  9. i m from italy ... the sizes here are a little bit smaller than yours...so if you need an american L you have to take the XL here in italy..

    take a look to this....

  10. I wonder if their website has conversion tables?

Otherwise, the safest thing to do is send them your neck measurement and sleeve lenght.

I take a medium and picked up a size 42 at Prada (16 1/2 inch neck).
