What size short surf board do I need?

Im 6'6" and about 230lbs...whats the best surf board (if any) for me?

If you want a shortboard, definitely go with a fish.  It's thicker and wider so it'll float you better.  It'll make it easier for you to paddle and catch lots of waves.  It's hard to answer which board is best without knowing your ability level and the type of waves you surf on.  9:Fish Surfboards has fishes from 5'4" to 12'.  Most likely, their 6'10" Yellowtail or 7'4" Hammerhead would fit really well.  You can even go as small as their 6'4" Fugu.  Check them out at http://www.9fishsurf.com/products.html

A longboard. At least 9' Easy to learn on too.

8"6to a9"0 fun board thick and wide easy to catch waves and sturdy to stand on and will still be able to carve i dont know your skill level
