What size skateboard should i get i saw alot of sizes for it what does all that mean?

the sizes like 7.5 or 7.75 mean how wide the deck is. you should get one of those two sizes.

first of all the sizes you saw were not the length it was the width for example 7.76, 7.75,7.6,8.2, all these are how many inches across. most people prefer about a 7.6 size deck but there are some who prefer 8.0 and up.

Its your preference that matters.

Go to your local skate shop and feel the diffrent sizes.

Numbers like 7.5 - 8.0 are the width of the skateboard.

I usually skate 7.75 and im a size 8.

My friend skate 7.5 when he's shoe size is 9.5.

Find out which one is most comfortable.  Generally, people with bigger feel like wider boards.  If you are planning to skate pools or vert, wider boards are more stable and easier to get on the coping.

Try riding some friends boards to find a width that you like.
