Are you talking about length of ski? It should definitely stand between your chin and the top of your head. Between nose and forehead is "normal". For your height about 165-173cm would be about right. If you are a beginner, a shorter ski is easier to turn and handle. If you want to ski a terrain park shorter is also best. Basically a short ski is easier but a long ski is more stable at high speed. Depends on what you want to do with it really.
