  1. Honestly, since you won't use them more than a couple times a year and you're a beginner, just rent. This allows the techs at the shop to properly size your skis and boots, and gives you the option of exchanging if you are unhappy with how they react for you. It's also much better than buying beginner skis that need replaced after a couple months and an ability level or two later.

It's hard to judge boot sizes off of "8". Depends on manufacturer, foot width, stance, etc.  Too many variables that renting a time or two can help alleviate.

  2. duno go 2 a ski shop

  3. You will probably wear a size 8 boot but you will need to try on different boots to find the right pair for you. Your boots won't matter in terms of being a beginner. Your skis are based on height and your ability. You will have a shorter ski but again you should consult with a knowledge ski salesperson. You may need to shop around to find a good price as well.

  4. Skis should reach to about to your chin for a beginner.

Its hard to size ski boots.  Gennerally they are a size smaller than your street shoe.  Never buy boots without trying them on.  Ask a boot fitter at a ski shop for help.

  5. wow,i love to ski:d
