I tried the calculator, but it didn't work. I'm 4'9" and I'm 64lbs. The calculator didn't go down that far, so I don't know.

  1. Hey, first of all a snowboard when standing up straight, tail at the bottom nose at the top, should come up to you any where from the top of your collar bone to the tip of your nose. I did one of those calculator things, and it said that i can ride a board anywhere from a 138 to a 148. I have 3 boards that i have rode during the years, a 138, a 145, and a 148. the best board that has worked for me so far has been the 145. Pretty much you just need to find which board you can ride the best, but stay within 10 centimeters. dont try to ride a board thats like a 134 and then try and ride a 165. as long as its, like i said, between your collar bone and the tip of your nose, that is a good size for you, but make sure you ride the size board before you take a commitment and buy it, i suggest renting some, and then choosing which board size you like the best.

  2. Best way is to go into a show and customly measure. Between top lip and nose.

  3. i regards to snowboarding  you just need to find the right fit... i had to rent 4 different boards before i found the size that fits me best. just remember the longer the board the faster you go. the shorter the board the slower and more maneuverable you become. feel it out and try renting before buying.

  4. Find someone in a store who actually knows about that stuff and get help from her/him

    that helped my sister.....ALOT
