height is the smallest factor in choosing a board, it almost all has to do with style and weight. and also personal prefrence. go to your local shop and have them fit you and set up a package for you. if you wanted you could always go online and see if you can put the same setup together and buy it that way. good luck and have a good season.

the length of the snowboard is based on your height, not weight. The sturdiness and flex of the board is what you should go to a shop and ask an expert about.

The length of a snowboard is NOT dependant only on your height - it depends on your height, weight and what type of riding you will do. Try this calculator:

Assuming you are 5'10", 270lbs and a beginner - that would mean about a 164cm board. My favorite brands are Ride and K2.
