Does the brand matter that much for me? I'm looking to get a package of boots, board, and bindings for under $250. I see stuff selling for new on eBay and at some online sites like The-House.com in my price range.

  1. try the hood off a chevy truck

  2. -loser shut up, he could beat the c**p outta you

    freeride (joy riding): 163 cm

    freestyle (park): 157 cm

all mountain (both): somewhere aroun 160

as for gear: you want to try the items on before you buy online, if you dont try on and you still buy, please make sure they have a return poilicy. Try

    dogfunk.com

    zumiez.com

    boardsforless.com

    backcountry.com

    theclickworldwide.com

    ccs.com

or try searching google for "snowboard packages"

the brand could matter, depends if its good quality or bad quality. morrow is a decent quality brand, cheaper and more of a beginner brand. 5150 is ok too.

brands like burton, ride, nitro, and flow are the top notch brands, more expensive, but the best quality out there and the best products.

i would recommend getting morrow for a beginner setup because its not too bad of brand.

good luck, refer to my other answers on what to wear or anythign of the sort. (even to backyard snowboard rails)
