What size snowboard should he use?

He is a total beginner, never tried it before. He is 5'11" and 260 lbs. Size 10 boots.

Yeah at 5-11 he should do 156-160ish and size 10 he can still ride a regular width board but if his feet grow anymore he'll need a mid-wide so if you plan on keeping the board for a long time get a midwide. I have size 10 boots and ride a midwide if you don't you'll get toe drag.
