What size socket do i need to change the axel on a 98 pontiac grand prix 34mm or 36mm ?

i need to change the axel on a friends 98 pontiac grand prix and i dont have the right size socket but i dont rememeb if it is a 34mm or a 36mm, dont have much money to spend so i need to get the right one the first time.

any help is really apreciated !!!

Working on cars will undoubtedly lead to other things. A simple project almost always exposes another one.Long story short, you should own a complete set of sockets. Or at least, your "friend" should. You can get a whole set for the price of a few individual sockets.

go to autozone they rent the tool you spend like 25 bucks but you get it back when you take the tool back. i think its a 34 i have the same car.
