I drive a 2002 Chevy Impala and I'm looking to buy some speakers for my trunk. I want something good that will make my trunk rattle.

  1. well 12 inch woofers are the standard these days because their big enough to move some air and if coupled to the right amp they can move fast enough to deliver the crisp bass response that we all strive for. an impala has a big trunk if I'm not mistaken so if it were me i would probably looking at a pair of 12 inch woofers, such as some Rockford fosgate P1's if you want bang for the buck, or if your willing to spend the cash some infinities are very nice. i would recommend kenwood as an amplifier for someone who wants their stuff to last because kenwood amps have a thermal protect feature that will keep you from damaging them by temporarily shutting off for a couple seconds. they come right back on but in this way they are a little longer lasting than something like a Sony.

  2. Two 12's should be good.
