What's the size/thickness/width the the pros usually use for competition? I know it probably depends on the rider and the waves/competition... but I was just wondering if there is a general standard.

  1. it does depend on the surfer & kind of waves or if it is for competition, fun, speed, etc.... if you want an antique/old school kind of surfboard they could be over 10 ft. but normally longboards are about 8- 11 feet & thickness is probably closer to 4"  or 4 1/2"the bigger the longboard
