  1. I don't know

  2. I would try something like a twenty, maybe thrity gallon tank.

  3. your not very experienced in 'fish keeping' if you don't know a better place to get advice about fish.

you need 75 gallons at least, and make sure its a tall tank, discus need deep water.

please don't buy discus, you don't know much about fish.  im sorry.

  4. This site helped me, lad.  Go read it and see if this will answer the majority of your questions and give you good food for thought.

  5. At least a 50gal tank for multiple discus.

Nothing really different to keeping them, just they need better water quality than many fish are happy with.

So ensure the tank and filters are fully cycled and running smoothly before you add the fish, and keep up the water changes. Aim for a Nitrate level below 10, rather than below 30 that is normally OK.

    Good luck. :)

  6. 50 min 70+ Gal would be best for that many.  Those fish are large and need more they get about 6-10 inches.  They are also not a fish for beginners. Due to them being very sensitive to any water changes.  They also like LOW Ph.  most tap water is 7 or 8 ph they like 5 ph.  So keeping the waters ph can be a challenge.

I have looked into these fish and did my research I decided against them they are too much work and need a large tank. Not to mention they are so expensive. I don't want to spend 30 to 60$  On a fish that I might kill. I am happy with my Balloon Rams.

  7. 25-30 gallons should suffice

  8. Cant you ask where you bought the fish from? Call them. You dont want to trust strangers do you? They may tell you the wrong thing on purpose. Check the internet also on those types of fish.

  9. 30 gallon tank would be nice

  10. A 30 gallon would be a good size tank to go with... that way youll have plenty of room

if your not sure then call the place you got them from or any pet store that is expierienced in fish  can tell you

  11. The rule of thumb for stocking density in a tank is to allow at least 5 gallons per discus.  So 25 gal min.
