Question:

What size tank should i get...?

i want to get a blue crayfish...and the max size for them that i know is 8 inch's. oh and i don believe "the cheaper way" of having pets but should i get a 10 gallon for $13.00 or a 20 gallon for $66.00? there is not a lot of info and i believe in researching for at least a month before i buy but how many times should i feed it....they are so cool! before i forget i know all the basics on them like ph is 7.0, and the Temp should be 70 degrease. so please help..

  2. Check out your local paper and craigslist. Even garage sales. I have 14 tanks and only two were bought new. You can get a much better deal that way. And go with the 20g, your new cray will be happy that you did.  

  3. well i do admit a blue crayfish is intriguing but it may require very special treatment and need special medicines or other supplies. If they get up to 8inches then i would recommend a 20 gal. and please ask a fish specialist about this type of animal to ensure you are doing the right thing. most special or different animal is different because it requires special attention so research a little more and if you really want one, go for it!
