Question:

What size wakeboard should I buy?

I am 5'9, 160lbs....

I've wakeboarded and snowboarded before so i wouldn't consider myself a beginner, but definately not advanced....

  1. im about the same size and ride an older byerly 132.  it works just fine for me.  most companies would tell you to get a 135-140 depending on the model.  the wide the board the shorter you can go.  see if your local shop will do demos.  most shops will charge like 50 bucks to demo a board for a few weeks, if you like the board that 50 goes towards the purchase price.  overall just try out a few boards and see which one you like best.


  2. hmm, try wakeworld.com, they have a board wizard that's great for finding somethin' that's exactly or at least close to what you can use.

    I'm 5'7" an 200lbs, an I found a great board through there, and usually they'll have good beginner boards, but you may not beable to find a women's board though, it's possible but I don't think it's too likely, but it's worth the try.

    it'll also match you up with a good board for your level of riding
