  1. Have you tried looking at the http://www.bookadumpster.com website?  Not only can you get a quote on the different dumpster rentals available for your area, but they have images of the different sized dumpsters which also give you the estimated volume.  In addition, they have a live chat in which you could always contact them directly with any/all of your questions.

  2. Should be plenty big.  We tore ours off, one layer, no sheathing, and it took two pickup loads to get it to the dump.  Those big dump trucks are ten yards.

  3. Ask for a 20yard dumpster. This will have about 3' high sides and should have open swing gate at one end. This lets you run wheel barrows up ramp and right into the dumpster. Fill it from the back to the front, then shut gate and throw the rest over the sides. Now is good time to also clean out junk from around the garage, house, basement, attic. and put it in the dumpster. Don't overfill or they might charge you an "overfill" charge.

  4. Usually, the people renting the dumpster will know. How many squares did you remove??
