  1. ScottyBob skis are made in Colorado and are US owned.

Rossignol has a US plant. Some Rossi lines are US made but they are not US owned.

Head...Used to be...now Austrian owned. There might be a plant still in the USA, but my buddy's were made in Canada.

Volant was US made and owned. I belive they are still made in the US, but they are now owned by Atomic...Finland, the same holding group that owns Salomon.

Karhu makes some of their skis in the USA..I'm not 100% sure they are US based.

K2...no longer US owned or manufactured. Volkl, Line, and Marker are owned by K2.

  2. Thats a tricky question. K2 the largest ski comp in the world started and was based in the US for many years. The skis are now made in China and they are owned by a multi national corp. The day to day operations are still based out of Seattle. Rossignal skis started in france but are now owned by Quicksilver. There is a plant outside of salt lake but most are still made over seas.

  3. burton

  4. Many of the indie ski companies (PM Gear, etc.) manufacture skis in the US. The others, sadly, have outsourced.
