Im 83 pounds, and still growing. I have a wooden board and I can only do flatland with it. Im not really a beginner but i'm not that great either. I want to get this board to ride into the wave and either catch air or ride the wave. I want to get a board that isnt wood, probably fiberglass. I don't have much money to spend cuz im still 13 but im workin for it. Thats why i want a board thats pretty cheap. And i still have to get traction for it too. I'm thinking of getting one of these cheaper boards http://www.wavejammer.com/surf/skim/skim026.shtml with just an extra tail block. Anybody have any advice on what to do? If you know any good boards please tell me.

  1. if you're just learning to ride waves i'd go with the zap wedge. i learned on one and they're great and as you get better and need a new board i'd go with a victoria board.

skimshop.com is a good place to get skimboards [:

  2. okay get the zap wedge as far as the victoria board, its gunna be a h**l of a lot more money than a zap large wedge. I have a zap large pro a zap large wedge and a zap egg and they are all amazing.
