What sleeping hours are most effective for a teen's growth?

I've heard that adolescents need around 7-8 hours of sleep, and that there is a period during those sleeping hours that is most effective in their growth spurt and when their height grows the most per se. What hours are most effective when it comes to growth in height for teens? Any source provided will be much appreciated since it would be more reliable than a guess. Thanks in advance. 10 points for best answer!

  2. I know that teens (especially around13-16) need to sleep alot and I've heard that because they're bodies and minds are developing so rapidly at this stage they need to sleep a lot to recharge. Heres a website with more info
