I write stories, and in one of them i write of a cruise ship leaving behind 2 familes, which need to survive on a deserted island. But in order for the story to work, the island needs to be somewhere in the carribean, and have some sort of source of water. Heellppp? I have been searching on the web but it gives me islands which have hotels and such. Thanks!

  1. Well I am unaware of all the desserted islands in the caribbean, but I can tell you about some in Puerto Rico.

Off the East coast of Fajardo PR,  There is Palomino & Palominito Islands, Icacos Cay & Diablo Cay. These are technically desserted, but boats of fisherman, snorkeller's & tourists come by everyday & the stranded people could probably swim back to the coast, so this probably won't make it entertaining.

The only other option is Mona Island. This is a fairly big island in between PR & DR. There is a lighthouse & some a ranger station & camp ground, but it is a nature reserve isalnd (like gallapagos) & people don't often come by. There are dangerous cliffs & rocks & its too far & difficult to swim to PR. or DR. & Monito is a small island off the coast of Mona. I believe there is absolutely nothing here.

  2. The Bahamas has two thousand cays and seven hundred islands, most of which are uninhabited.

  3. You need a island that has natural waterfalls.

How about Prickly Pear Cays, a deserted island about 6 miles off of Anguilla. No one lives on this island.

    I wish you luck)
