  1. CHEX MIX PUPPY CHOW

9 cup Chex- almost a whole box

    1 cup chocolate chips

    1/2 cup peanut butter

    1/4 cup butter

    1/4 teaspoon vanilla

    1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Put cereal in large bowl. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Pour over Chex cereal, put into a large plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat.

Spread mixture evenly on wax paper and allow to cool.

    SOFT PRETZELS

    1 pkg. yeast

    1 1/2 c. warm water

    1 tsp. salt

    1 tbsp. sugar

    4-5 c. flour

    Pretzel salt or coarse salt

In large bowl combine water and yeast. Add sugar and salt. Add flour until you have a stiff, ply-able dough. Place on floured surface and  knead 5 to 8 minutes. Shape as you like (not too thick though). Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with pretzel salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes or until golden.

  2. At the store they have those little corn dog bites. I think those are yummy. You might want to take some ketchup.

    Oatmeal creme pie cookies.

little taquitos (also at the grocery in the frozen food section.

  3. Get a bunch of tooth picks, large marshmallows and brownies. Cut the brownies into square chunks and make little kabobs. Put a brownie chunk then a marshmallow then another brownie. Make 1 or 2 for each person. For the brownies you can just get the ones that are prepackaged.

  4. What grade are you guys in?  That would help.

  5. Deviled Eggs

6 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise

¼ cup Light Mayonnaise or Salad Dressing

    ½ teaspoon dry ground mustard

    ½ teaspoon white vinegar

    1/8 teaspoon salt

    ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

    Paprika for garnish

Pop out (remove) the egg yolks to a small bowl and mash with a fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard powder, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Fill the empty egg white shells with the mixture and sprinkle lightly with paprika.

Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one day before serving.

    Aloha Pork Meatballs

    1 pound ground pork

    1 cup fresh bread crumbs

3/4 cup CROSSE & BLACKWELL Ham Glaze, divided use

    2 tablespoons warm water

    2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

    1 tablespoon parsley flakes

    1 large egg

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

    1 tablespoon vegetable oil

    1 (12-ounce) can pineapple juice

    3 tablespoons soy sauce

    2 tablespoons cornstarch

MIX pork, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup ham glaze, water, onion, parsley, egg, salt and pepper in large bowl. Shape into 1-inch meatballs. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs, about half at a time, removing meatballs as they brown. Skim off excess fat.

STIR remaining ham glaze, pineapple juice, soy sauce and cornstarch in smal bowl until smooth; stir into skillet and heat to boiling. Return meatballs to skillet. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

    Makes 4 servings.

  6. Fresh fruit, pineapple, strawberries, melon, whatever you like with marshmallow cream mixed with cream cheese it's very good.

7 layer dip - refried beans, gaucamole, salsa, sour cream, grated cheese, olives, green onion and serve with blue tortilla chips or regular.

    Enjoy!

  7. ok...ive got this one for you. you dont want everyday ingrediant thrown together to make something wierd(like ive been reading LOL) since summer is right around the bend, I think scallops wrapped in bacon is a huge hit, not tuff to make, and have a lil more class , ya know. add a lil maple syrup to them. How about a medetranian platter with hummus, greek salad, olives and feta with some nicly cut veggies on it also ( sliced red gren and yellow peppers, and cuc's) ANd you cant go wrong with shrimp cocktail. throw them on ice in a glass bowl, whip a few lemon slices on top with a bowl of cocktail on the side.
