  1. I live around there and i would guess a water snake. They are going to be brown and black with a red belly. Also try looking at different kinds of snakes like a black race.  heres a list of all the non venomous snakes living here

  3. I don't really know of any snake with that description in that area. It could be a kirtland's snake. Here's a pic of one:
