What snowboard wax should i use? rub on or heated or ...?

I have got a brand new salomon snowboard, and i want to go on a dry ski slope in trowse, Norwich. i dont know what wax to put on my board if i need to use some, to make me go faster and stop my board getting mucked up because of the slope. I heard there is a rub on wax which is good for dry slopes, as i dont what to heat it on, its a pain!! what should i get and how much of it, oh and Thanks

  1. Your best answer is always a hot wax job.  It's very easy to do, you just need a tuning kit an iron and a block of wax. A 133g block will last for several waxings.   All of these items can be purchased from a snowboard or ski shop, or available online.  You can even get an old clothes iron from a thrift store, as long as it heats up, it will work fine.  Rub on waxes are designed for quick touch-ups between runs, and will wear off quickly.  Check this link out for waxing your board.  http://www.demonsnow.com/tune.html
