What social persepctive does the movie crash follow?

I have to write a report on the movie crash from either a functionalist, symbolic interactionist or conflict theorist. What is the best one and explain why.

The movie shows that racism is not simply whites who dislike blacks. It inverts the offenders and defenders of the various groups. The black cop (Chealde) who defends the white cop who killed a black cop.
