Question:

What software do I download for photo editing?

I'm trying to help a friend out. She needs a software that she can use to edit photo's as far as more than just croping and red eye. She has windows XP. She would like a free or trial version. Does Microsoft have a good program that I can download for her? For example if she has a grandkids picture of the kid holding a fish. She would like to make the fish larger, or slim a person's body. Thank you for reading and any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Thanks, Thanks

  1. A very good Photo-Editing software available is Adobe PhotoShop, but only a 30-day trial for PhotoShop is available for free. To try it out go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads

A free alternative to PhotoShop is GIMP. While it is as powerful as PhotoShop, it's a bit harder to use. If you can't get your head around it, check some tutorials on YouTube:

    http://www.gimp.org

    Hope that helps.

  2. Try these two

scroll to the bottom and download XnView v1.94.2 Complete version (Some Plugins/Addons & NConvert, ShellEx, Media Detector) setup file
