What software does Windows Vista come with?

I am going to be purchasing a laptop soon and i'm not sure what programs I need to buy and which ones come with Windows Vista.

Vista will come with all of the basics so it is a matter of what you are going to do with it, I would recommend either buying Microsoft Office (the computer should come with a trial) or downloading Open Office as well as picking up a good anti virus software like AVG. other wise that would be about it. The computer should come preloaded with basic picture editor, cd/dvd burning software etc.

My dear Lady,

Windows, is an operating system. Softwares are programs or games. It depends on the computer manifacturer what free software will be pre-loaded on the new machine!

HP, Sony, Toshiba etc. . . they have their own software and thirt party softeware on their new machines.

i.e. it has nothing to do with ms vista !
