What software (or kind of) is used to make sites like MySpace and Bebo?

It's not a software that's used, it's programming language.  Html, css, php, javascript, mysql, etc.

You can use programs such as

. And even Ms Notebook, (start from scratch though)

although, you will need to learn comuter progrmaing,

for instance bebo is made using jsp (java script pages)

you can tell this because it has   .jsp at the end (sometimes in the middle of its url adresses.

if you are looking to learn php, java script, etc, then i would recomend using www.tutorialized.com as this has some good tutorials on the topic, although you will not learn everything you need to know here,

that would prob be a university course.
