What software will i use to edit an mp3 file?

im a drummer and i always wanted to jam with some songs. the problem is, i can't jam with it because i get distracted to the sound of the drums in the song. so, is there any software out there that can erase the sound of the drums so i can hear everything except for the drums? in that way, i can play better without distractions.

thats not exactly the easiest thing to do, because an mp3 would have to be pre-split into drums/guitar/vocals, etc. im sure you might be able to do it with a profesional program, but with a free program, i doubt it.

audacity is free and it is the best editor ever you can do everything very easily, you remix songs like changing speed, changing voice, echo all amazing effects try it out if you find a tutorial you can take tracks out but it doesnt always work hope this helps
