  1. Stretch bracelets  with different kinds of beads( glass or wood)

that guys or gals would like. Michaels craft stores have a big selection with books on how to do it. Or fancy dog leashes for the pet lovers- get in expensive leashes and  collars add fancy beads  sell them on e-bay or at a flea market

  2. A lot of young guys I know do leatherworking. Some make jewelry out of leather strands and various pendants or beads. Others do belts and wallets. Some do tooling, making beautiful patterns engraved into the leather. I recommend doing some searching on the web for info about it. Another thing which some guys I know do is making chain maille. You can make jewelry or even clothing by connecting metal links together in patterns. All the things I've mentioned can be small and easy to sell. Often, you start out selling something to a few friends, then as you put more into your hobby, you can take a booth at a craft show (the cost depends on the size of the show, where you're located, etc.) and maybe get some local stores to sell your stuff. Most importantly, having a creative hobby keeps your mind sharp and gives you a feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment that video games will never do.

  3. MIchael's Craft store has wooden toy kits for a dollar. They come with everything you need to build it and paint it.

  4. creative??

    ha!!

    im the COMPLETE opposite.

    lol

  5. You can crochet. This website will teach you the basics of crochet through video tutorials.

  6. Are you a creative person?  Bird houses are still good sellers at flee markets.  There are ready made birdhouses at craft stores or you can make your own but they can be work intensive if you make your own.  Decorating is all up to you; you can paint and add fancy trimmings, do broken tile, or even use tiny rocks to make a rock birdhouse.  If you want them to be used outdoors the cheapest thing to attach the tiles or rocks would be white or colored caulking.  If you put them on a stand decorate the stand with small bendable branches off trees, or use larger broken branches as the stand.

Think about things you need to have (a saw, paint, caulking gun) will it cost money to get the things you need to do your craft or are they things you might already have around home?

There are alot of decisions to make when you start a hobby so do trials of different things before you make your final decision to decide what  you enjoy doing. You might think that you would like to do models or greeting cards, but then decide you don't really care for enough to stick with it to make some money from it.

  7. Join your 4-h...My son just joined this spring, he is getting ready for the fair now.  We are "cityfolk" so I didn't think he would get into it much...but he LOVES it!  They have stuff all yr long and it is low cost.

  8. What about making mosaic stepping stones or regular tile mosaics? They are really quite easy and cheap to make. You can usually find broken glass or tile all over the place. Some tile stores even just give it away if they can't use it.

Or... what about paper mache characters?

  9. i build airplane models.  they are fun to put together, but they can get to be difficult. painting is fun, and the overall construction is great. although you need to have a lot of patience.

  10. You can do diecasts and models of cars or planes if you like. But the neatest thing is geocaching. All you need is a GPS and some used junk. Go to geocaching.com to find out what this hobby is.

  11. Models, you can get kits quite reasonably. What about photograophy ?If you have a digital, you're all set and can read online about tips and techniques. Also, beginning woodworking,. Some of these can be done quite cheaply and simply. Even cooking is good. And your family will love you for that one ;O)
