  1. Natural remedies include fish oil, garlic oil, apple cider vinegar and many others that you can find in a web search for "high blood pressure" + "natural remedies".

  2. Exercise. It is the finest way of all.

  3. Coleus and Mistletoe in a 6:4 ratio.  one teaspoon 3x/day until blood pressure normalizes and then reduce dosage.  Check you BP regularly to monitor the changes.

  4. Take a powerful "liquid" vitamin/mineral like VEMMA.  Go to www.TrySomeVemma.com  Also drink 3 glasses [10oz ea.] of GREEN TEA  per day ,it causes the blood vessels to relax and become flexable.  Try to get "gun powder" green tea leaves.

  5. Take a few moments out of your day to sit, relax and just take deep breaths concentrating on your breathing. That will help your heart relax and help overall :)

  6. One of the things I've heard was eating celery.

  7. I have had very high blood pressure for years, and decided to take matters into my own hands as I really felt my doctor wasn't being proactive for my health.  So I started doing a lot of research, and I'm taking vitamins/minerals/supplements etc.

What I take every day besides my blood pressure medication:

    Garlic

    Vitamin C

    Calcium

    Magnesium

    Vitamin E

    Omega 3's

    Multi Vitamins

    Probiotics

  8. 1) regular, moderate exercise

    2) lose weight

    3) maintain a high Vitamin D status

    4) maintain a high micronutrient status (vitamins and minerals that are vital for normal endothelial function, such as: vitamins B12, B6, B2, B3, folate, C, K and E; and minerals such as: Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, and potassium)

    5) Eat the recommended 7 to 9 servings of FRESH fruits and vegetables every day

    6) Supplement with L-Arginine the precursor needed to synthesize Nitric Oxide, AKA the Endothelial Relaxation Factor

    7) Be sure your doctor has properly tested you for heavy metal toxicities (lead, mercury, cadmium, etc.) as recommended by leading medical experts in hypertension.  If you have elevated levels, detox them!

All of the above recommendations have scientifically documented benefits for hypertension.

    Best wishes and good luck.

  9. Well I wouldn't eliminate sodium then but I would quit sodium in processed foods and man made salts like MSG's and such.  Buy some sea salt, not a much higher price at all.  Sea salt is very good for you anyways and will help balance the sodium levels because low sodium levels are not good either.  Then I would start eating a diet high in potassium there are many fruits and vegetables high in potassium a quick google search will help you there.  Drinking a few herbal teas such as teas with kava or chamomile and there are many others can quickly for the immediate moment lower your blood pressure.

  10. My herbal drink is good for you.  My hypertension disappeared only after a few days of drinking it.  It is called First Vita Plus.
