I think it was sung by Alexander O'neil but I'm not sure. I think it was released in the 90's or possibly late 80's. Umm... parts of the song goes something like... Roses are red and violets are blue..... and I love you.

kumquatsmcgee has got it. The Mac Band- Roses Are Red. That was the song!!
