  1. The song concrete angel makesme cry everytime i hear it...it could be a fantastic song to use for a lyrical solo but you and the dancer must be willing to take a risk and use a song with such a sinsitive story line.

  2. "If You Get There Before I Do" by Collin Raye. Not sure if it would make a good dance solo though.

  3. Goodbye My Lover by Josh Groban one that i can think of off the top of my head and is really sad.

You might wanna try this link though:

  4. i love hide and seek by imogen heap- tonssss of emotion.

also try white houses by vanessa carlton, its cool and very simplistic.  good luck!

  5. There are many beautiful and meaningful songs that can be used for a lyrical solo. Here are some of my faves:

    "Broken" - Lindsey Haun

"Close to You" - Carpenters (an oldie, but I always tear up!)

    "Surrender" - BarlowGirl (very emotional)

"In My Arms" - Plumb (danced to it this year and my mom cried at recital because the lyrics are very beautiful)

"Irvine" - Kelly Clarkson (very sad, but beautiful)

"Ocean Size Love" - Leigh Nash

"The Scientist" - Coldplay (l-o-v-e this song!)

"The Winner Takes it All" - ABBA (another oldie, but it's so pretty!)

    Hope I could help! :)
