I'm auditioning for a community play this weekend, and am required to sing any song I choose.

Here are some facts:

I am 13. I have a medium to low voice. I am not a very good singer. It can be any song from anything and anywhere. Last time I sang Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid, and before that I sang Fabulous from High School Musical 2. Thank you very much:)

  1. First off, if you're auditioning for a musical, you want to sing a song from a musical.

Second, if you're not much of a singer, pick a song that A. doesn't require much of a range and B. allows you to act it out.

    Some suggestions:

Shy - Once Upon a Mattress

    Stepsisters Lament - Cinderella

    Honey Bun - South Pacific

Nelson - A Day in Hollywood

Whatever Lola Wants - d**n Yankees

Don't Call Me Trailer Trash - Cowgirls

You Can't Get a Man With a Gun - Annie Get Your Gun

    Good luck!

  2. The song that is really in my head right now it "This is me" or "who will I be" from Camp Rock sang By Demi Lovato, For me the notes are really not that hard to sing and I'm not a professional singer so I guess that's good

  3. if you have a few min, check out this site that is dedicated to this sort of thing.http://www.musicaltheatreaudition.com/pe...

If your in a hurry though...one of my personal favorites is a county song by Reba "why haven't I heard from you"
