  13. When I Said I Do – Clint Black

My fiance had picked this one a few years before we even got engaged. He said he wanted it to be "our song" at first I didn't like it lol but he made me a CD with the song on it and I fell in love with it.

When he proposed to me that song was playing in the background. It was so sweet..

The first dance/song should be a song that has a lot of meaning to you and your love. Something that reflects your relationship. This song will forever be "your song". Even if that means it is a heavy metal song, as long as it fits the two of you!

  14. My husband and I wanted to do something different that would show off our personalities. We did a choreographed dance to "The Only One For Me" by Brian McKnight. (Originally we eloped, and we had the first dance. It was to Edwin McCain's, "I'll Be.") While our guests were enjoying the cocktail hour, I changed into my reception dress. After all of the guests were seated, the lights went off. (It was planned like that.) We had candles on the tables, so it wasn't completely dark. I was at the top of the stairs, and at first the spotlight was on my husband who was standing in the middle of the floor. When the music started, the spotlight was on me. Walking down the stairs without tripping and falling was the hard part. For the first 30 seconds, I was walking down the stairs in slow motion. When the first line of the song began, that's when we started dancing. It took a lot of practice, but we did it. Our guests were stunned. I chose the song because it just screams seductive and sultry. Plus, I love Brian McKnight. We just wanted to have fun with our first dance. I think I will upload the video to YouTube because it's hard to describe.

  15. We danced a viennese waltz to Annie's Song by John Denver.  It was the first song we played when we got engaged - we had just started dancing lessons and knew how to waltz - but this song was too fast to waltz to!  We spent 4 months prior to the wedding learning the hardest ballroom dance - the viennese waltz - and we pulled it off really well!  Everyone loved it and the song was special to us and always will be now!

  16. Ours will be The Lion King by Elton John.  It's a special song for us.
