What song would you use for the prosessional and the first dance?

Here is the catch my friend is getting married in November and needs alittle help with song choices, but our songs are limited she does not want a country song, she wants something that will be mean something to both of them.

First if she is having a church ceremony there may be some restrictions on what type of music she can choose.  She should talk to the church musicians as they will have lots of suggestions and she will need to pick something they are familiar with.

If a non church ceremony then she can choose whatever she wants.  If she is having live musicians she needs to get with them and make sure they will be able to play what she chooses.

Did you mean the Processional for the ceremony or the song to announce the bridal party at the reception?   the word processional is used only for the ceremony, just an FYI.

For the processional, have the band or dj play a fun, upbeat (maybe jazz) song with no lyrics (just instrumental).  They will be announcing the bridal party, anyway.  Our band just played a little instrumental piece that sounded like what a band might play when they are introducing each band member.

For the first dance, I really like "True Companion" by Marc Cohn.  It's not the typical first dance song, but it's very sweet.
