What songs for thespians are good for altos?

Question

I have been accepted to my school's Thespians.

Their records are superiors and excellent, nothing lower than that!

I want to do great on competitions, but I can't find a song!

I am an alto and I can belt.

PLEASE help me!

I don’t want anything less than an excellent.

So, which songs do you suggest for an alto that can belt?

I have the same problem, being a fellow alto. I would reccommend Cabaret by Liza Minnelli. It's such a fun song. There's only one or two higher bits, and after a little practice they were not too difficult to hit. Good luck, give Liza a try!

Check out the musical Follies as there are a few good alto songs. 'Losing my mind' is fantastic!
