  1. You should sing "I feel like f*****k I N" by Plies

  2. And maybe 7 things by miley cyrus!

  3. here's an idea-write your own!

  4. Yeah you should start writing your own songs! CD's of you singing other peoples songs? What's the point of that right! Alot of people can sing other peoples songs, but the reallyyyy talented can write their own.

I think you should give it a shot :]

    Good Luck

EDIT: I never said that you weren't good if you didn't write your own songs. I said the REALLY talented write their own. And I don't like any of the people you mentioned anyways haha my favorite artists DO write their own songs. And either way, those people have writers & music producers to do it, so it hasn't already been made and its not taken from already produced songs.

  5. If your making a real CD then you cant copy other artists. You got to have Cop Right form the artist.  But i love number 3!

  6. If this is a real CD, it's copyright you can't have other peoples songs on a CD sang by you unless given permission. Write you own songs or get a lyricist.

  7. disturbia-rihanna

  8. First, make sure your parents are absolutely serious about making CDs. Sometimes, my parents sort of make those kind of ambitions, like "One day, Sarah, you should audition for Broadway." And that's probably not going to happen.

Second, what is the purpose of this CD? To give to a record company as a demo? For an audition? To give to your friends just for fun? If it's the first one, make sure you put music on that is the type of music that you want to sing. Also make sure that it's music that makes your voice sound good. For this, you might want to write your own songs, also, so that it shows that you can also do original music. For the second one, what are you auditioning for? If you're auditioning for an ensemble or play, choose songs that are simalar to music that you would be performing. It would be kind of weird to audition for an opera with Rihanna music, because Rihanna music doesn't show them that you can sing opera. :P If you're auditioning for a talent show or a solo performance, just choose songs that make your voice sound good. You'd have a higher chance of getting in. If you're doing it for fun, do songs that you like to sing. The experience will be so much more fun if you're doing music that you enjoy.

To find songs, go to youtube, and go to the music section and randomly cruise around. You might find music you like. Do the same with iTunes.

    Good luck!

EDIT: KeriMackenzie, that is NOT true. I know plenty of people who don't write songs and are VERY talented and very untalented people who write songs. Heck, most people on Broadway (who are generally the best singers out there. Yes, they are better than your beloved Beyonce, Zac Efron, Fergy, ect.) don't write their own songs.

  9. you should write you're own

    it would be better
