What songs would be best at a luau party? we're throwing a surprise party for my mom & i have the beach boys

i have the beach boys so far. what other songs and artists would be great? also any decorating ideas/tips?

The party stores have cd's with luau party songs on them. While you are there check out the decorations for luau parties.Some ideas- all the guests get a lei when they arrive, maybe your mom could have the fanciest one. The men could wear Hawaiian shirts and the ladies too, unless they could find flowery Hawaiian dresses.All the women should have a big flower in their hair. It could be artificial.Have Tiki torches if possible,lights strung up and paper lanterns.Grass skirt type material around the bar or tables.Pineapples, coconuts, lots of fresh fruit, seashells. Have a hollowed out watermelon with fresh fruit salad. Paper umbrellas for the drinks.How about a hula contest-funny if you have the guys do it.Limbo contest. Israel Kamakawiwo'ole does a beautiful version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow as well several others that you may like ...might not be your cup o' tea though (alot of them aren't in english).
