Generally my IQ is high but in tests I do particularly well at verbal reasoning and visual sequencing. I need a complete career change and I was wondering what practical use I can get from this skill. (A typical example of visual sequencing is: What comes next? Red Square, Red Square, Green Circle, Red Square, Red Circle, Green Square, Red Circle, Red Square, ? Answer: Green Square. The colour sequence remains the same but with each progression the circle moves one back.)

  1. There are many jobs requiring your ability, but most (jobs) also have many other skills that are needed. Is there a chance you could discuss your "test results" with a counselor or test analyzer? They would have some idea where your skills fall in helping you decide on a particular direction. You don't say your age and/or grade level, so giving further input is difficult. (And if it's any consolation, my guess in your above example would have been Trafalger Square, or Crop Circle, but neither was an option).
